Acceptable Use Policy

A short list of things that will get an account suspended, and why each one is on it.

Effective 6 September 2026. We will post any change on this page and update this date.

1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses ZenOrbit — account holders, their team members, people booking through a ZenOrbit page, and anything built on our API. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

2. Do not break the law

Do not use the Service for anything unlawful where you are, where we operate, or where the people you are dealing with are. This includes fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, trading in controlled or prohibited goods and services, and infringing anyone’s intellectual property.

3. Do not harm people

  • No harassment, threats, stalking, or targeting an individual for abuse.
  • No content that sexualises minors, in any form, ever.
  • No incitement to violence or self-harm.
  • No impersonation of another person or organisation, including us.
  • No collecting or publishing someone’s personal information without a lawful basis.

4. Do not misuse messaging

Notification and reminder features exist to tell someone about a booking they made. Do not use them to send unsolicited marketing, bulk messages to people who did not ask for them, or anything that would breach messaging regulations or the rules of the messaging provider. Booking pages are not a mailing list.

5. Do not misuse payments

  • Do not sell anything you are not lawfully entitled to sell.
  • Do not describe what you sell in a way that misleads the buyer about what they will receive.
  • Do not use the payment features to move money unrelated to a genuine booking or service.
  • Do not process payments on behalf of a third party without disclosing it.
  • Publish your own cancellation and refund terms to your clients before they pay.

6. Do not attack the Service

  • No unauthorised access attempts, probing or scanning beyond what our security page invites.
  • No interference with, or disproportionate load on, the Service or its infrastructure.
  • No circumventing rate limits, plan limits, entitlements or authentication.
  • No scraping, or automated collection of data belonging to other users.
  • No uploading malware, or using the Service to distribute it.

7. API and automation

Use the published API rather than automating the interface. Identify your application honestly, respect rate limits and documented deprecations, and keep your credentials secret. Do not resell raw API access as if it were your own platform without an agreement with us.

8. Accuracy of your public page

Your public profile and booking pages are visible to people deciding whether to give you their time and money. Describe what you actually offer, at the price you actually charge, and honour the availability you publish.

9. Reporting a violation

If you encounter an account misusing the Service, tell us at support@zenorbit.app with enough detail to identify it. We investigate every report and we do not disclose who reported what.

10. Enforcement

Where we find a violation, we may warn you, remove content, limit a feature, suspend the account, or terminate it. We match the response to the seriousness and try to give notice and a chance to fix things first — except where the violation is serious enough that acting first is the only responsible option, such as illegal content, an active attack, or a risk to someone’s safety.

Where we terminate an account for a material violation, no refund is due — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
